“Yeah, he’s in my Garmin nüvi, along with all the other archetypes. Mysterious girl, nervous single dad, lovable Southern rogue, upper class doctor, fat stoner, they’re all in here, moving from place to place. That’s how I know where everything is.”
“Dude, you’re kidding, right? That isn’t how a GPS works. All the information on the 4.3” display comes from stuff they pre-installed at the factory, probably using the built-in MicroSD slot. And also satellites, it talks to satellites high above the planet.”
“Well, that’s a good theory, my friend, but it doesn’t account for the polar bear cages. Or the food drops. Or the time travel, now that I think about it.”

“Yeah, these are the 2010 maps, so it’s like we’re flashing between the past and the future at all times. Sure, nothing’s really changed so they’re still mostly valid for day-to-day use, but that’s not the point. The point is, we’re time travelers now, and we can influence or cause our own destiny. What we do today might have already been changed by what we’re about to do yesterday!”
