The newly developed three-step collapsible lens automatically retracts when not in use to leave a slim, stylish and seriously compact body.

The highly versatile 25-900mm equivalent lens will cover you whether you're shooting wide-angle landscapes or zooming in on action and wildlife shots.

The FinePix S8650 has a Super Macro mode that focuses down to just 1cm for detailed close-ups or you can use Fujifilm's Intelligent Digital Zoom to increase the zoom to 72x (1800mm equivalent).

Fujifilm’s lens-shift Optical Image Stabilization system combats any trace of blur.

FUJINON 36x Optical Zoom and Super Macro

The FinePix S8650 features a FUJINON 36x zoom lens with fast apertures of f/2.9 to f/6.9. With 14 elements in 10 groups, the lens combines aspherical and ED elements for reduced aberration and superior image quality.
With Super Macro Mode capturing subjects as close as 1cm from the lens, the FinePix S8650 seamlessly covers an enormous focal range with no need to change lenses.

Compact body with a 36x zoom

Fujifilm's newly developed 3-step collapsible lens allows the compact storage of a huge 36x zoom lens in this small, pocketable body.

HD Movie with one-button access

HD movies can be recorded at 720p/30fps in widescreen 16:9 format then shared with friends and family on your big screen TV using the S8600’s built-in mini HDMI connector.
With a dedicated Video Recording button for faster shooting, you can leave the camcorder at home and capture some great spur-of-the-moment footage wherever you are!
Movie scene recognition applies optimum settings according to your subject.
