Uh, hey, Armida Winery? We're not trying to embarrass you or anything, but, well, you misspelled the name of this wine. Yeah, that should end in "s-o-n". Don't mention it.

We understand you don't have a lot of time for the intricacies of English-language usage. You're too busy crafting desirable wines like this here 2005 Poizin (sic), a Sonoma-born blend of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel that leads with dark cherry, raspberry, and brown spice notes into a ripe, fruity mouth and a lingering finish. Who cares how it's spelled? Poizin speaks the universal language of intoxication.

There are no problems, spelling or otherwise, with the other Armida wine for sale here. The 2005 Antidote carries Poizin's cutesy conceit a step further, with a dose of crisp, clean Russian River Valley Pinot Gris in a wholesome-looking blue bottle. Brightly acidic pear, citrus, and honeysuckle flavors make Antidote taste every bit as good as it's spelled.

Oh, wait - Poi"zin" as in Zinfandel! OK, we get it now. You spelled it that way on purpose. Never mind.
