We’ve hit the cleverness wall on this one, folks. We’ve looked at this thing from every possible angle, trying to come up with some hook to hang a joke on. We’ve considered mocking its brand name, its design, its parentage, its bedwetting habit. Maybe we’re coming down with bird flu, maybe we’re drained from the Woot-Off excitement, maybe we’re worried about running afoul of Major League Baseball’s harsh new penalties for steroid use. In any case, we’ve thrown a lot of crap at the wall, and nothing has stuck.

We've even resorted to re-running this very writeup from the last Woot-Off. It's that bad.

So here’s the straight dope, the honest truth, the real deal: you can carry the AMW 10.2” DVD Player around with you and watch movies or listen to music. It plays DVDs, CDs, MP3s, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, VCDs, and SVCDs with complete adequacy. You can even load up a disc of JPEG photos and view them on the screen, if that’s your bag.

Unfortunately for us, about the only thing it doesn’t do is write jokes.
