Floral Eruption, print on canvas was originally painted by Allan P Friedlander. Allan's paintings of landscapes, flowers, and abstracts reflect his many interests. Born and raised in Southern Georgia him a passion for the rural countryside and a love of the outdoors. After leaving the South he had the opportunity to live in many other parts of the country and even aboard. Finally settling in Northern California one of the most beautiful areas of the country. In pursuit of his passion, Allan studied Art at Washington University and Maryland Institute College of Art and obtained a BFA degree in Fine Art. He then spent many years doing Stock Photography and traveling the world taking photographs. In 1999, he decided to go full time as a painter using photography only as a source for his landscape paintings, giving up a job of over 20 years, to devote full time efforts to painting. Allan's work was selected for the Art in Embassies Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and was on displaye at the U.S. Embassy in Astana, Kazakhstan.
