Wow, guys. A lot of wild stuff happened here and a lot of upsets, but we really need to talk about what’s going on in the Historic/Literary Dogs division: Clifford, the 16 seed, beat Balto, the 1 seed. That’s pretty much the craziest upset we can have, and to be honest, I’m pretty disappointed.
You guys do realize that Clifford doesn’t do anything but hang around and be really big and get in everyone’s way while Balto was actually a real dog who raced across the Alaskan tundra carrying medicine that SAVED A BUNCH OF CHILDREN’S LIVES and then later got a movie about him where he was voiced by Kevin Bacon, which is also pretty cool in my opinion. But no…everyone would rather vote for the big red dog who does nothing be be big and red and annoy parents who are held hostage by the whims of their children and forced to watch his tv show and read his books over and over again endlessly.
This is just a long-winded way of saying that Clifford sucks and Balto is awesome and the 61% of you who voted for him are just downright wrong. And don’t even get me started on what happened in the Laika/Cujo matchup. Laika WENT TO SPACE while Cujo IS AN ACTUAL MURDERER*. I just don't understand.
But that’s not the point. The point is to let the people chose and the people have chosen. These are our results.
Since we had a lot of upsets in this round, It's shaping up to be a pretty interesting competition. A lot of you who made unconventional selections might be pretty pleased with yourselves right now.
