by Scott Lydon

Every week in this space, we’ll take a look at the news and offer our own incisive blend of commentary, analysis, and poop jokes. The news you need, from a voice you can trust, in the 90 seconds you have to spare: that’s Woot Weads the Wire.

NEW YORK (UPI) -- Actress Tilda Swinton's performance art piece at New York's Museum of Modern Art featured the Scottish actress sleeping all day long inside a glass box.

A similar performance happens every day in the nearby coffee shop's pastry case.

LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- Dionne Warwick's publicist says the singer owes more than $10 million in unpaid taxes and has filed for bankruptcy in New Jersey.

Attorneys say they expect to repossess her trains and boats and planes.

LONDON (UPI) -- U.S. movie studio 20th Century Fox said it put up a giant rock monument at England's Stonehenge to promote its new prehistoric-themed family film, "The Croods."

Stonehenge is thought to have been originally erected to promote the blockbuster hit of 3000 BC, "The Sunrise."

DAVIE, Fla., March 26 (UPI) -- Florida Atlantic University issued an apology for a class exercise that involved Intercultural Communications students stomping on "Jesus."

Students say that what made it even worse was that "Jesus" was only available from the campus bookstore, as part of a $700 coursepack.

ESSEX JUNCTION, Va. (UPI) -- A Domino's Pizza location in Vermont is teaming with the local fire department to deliver pizzas and promote fire safety.

The plan is to make people terrified of the long-term repercussions of not tipping the driver.
