I am not sure if I should be more ashamed that I didn't remember some of the "good" songs, or that I remembered a LOT of the "bad" songs... guess that doesn't say a lot about my tastes....

Tank (Cowboy Bebop) is perhaps, the greatest theme song to any cartoon ever.

Personally, I'd add Kidd Video and Super Friends to this list, and I find the theme to Battle of the Planets faaaar superior to Voltron, but, what do I know?

Though I do have a playlist devoted strictly to Alan Thicke's catalog of sitcom themes and can watch old commercials from the 80's for hours at a time, running the gauntlet of human emotions...so there's that...

...but like art, one's taste in Saturday Morning Cartoons is subjective at best.

I mean, somebody out there actually enjoyed Denver the Last Dinosaur...so you just never know.

The Gummibears theme is a close second.

I can't believe the BEST Saturday morning cartoon theme had been left out of this list!

I used to wake up early on the weekends just to even see this show!

It's such a shame that they only made 12 episodes before it got cancelled... Although I did hear that they're planning a live-action remake of it, it's supposed to be good from what I've seen.

Ummm... I was hoping for something better.

The Jetsons, anyone?

Their theme song 'narration' may have been part of the song lyrics, but I think it belongs in this category.

I think that's a pretty fair argument.

Optimus Prime was the narration for Voltron?! I didn't know that!

I don't think you can even have a discussion about the best cartoon intros without including Exosquad.

That sounds like Paul Frees on the Impossibles intro.

I'm a fan of Ralph Bakshi's Mighty Heroes, but the theme is just an introduction of the characters.

The best theme is years was the Invader Zim theme!

What, no ST:TAS (as I sit here looking at my boxed copy). They must not have been able to get the rights to the original score. I was also a big fan of Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle: "This is my domain, and I protect those who come here; for I am Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle." I should have recommended the Tarzan, Lord of Amphetamines version from the second season for the worst list.

I am incredibly amused that Mary uses her powers because she can't get the cleaning done.

And then rather than even halfass six deities for her, they name one then they're all "and some other ones we can't bother with".
