Why is a flashlight on a tripod? How does that help you do anything at all?

I actually got one of these as a gift last year. They are AWESOME! nice and bright good for working on things.

My guess is woot is in cahoots with some Somali pirates who have hijacked a tanker full of scaffolding, and is unloading it for them.

A light on a stick! Wasn't this just on? Oh, right that was a light for my stick.

I guess that wasn't the end of the wootoff.

These work great. Come in really handy if you work on stuff.

I wonder if the last two items were in the "baby of the cosmos"?

I didn't know what I'd use this for but then I realized that when I can't hold the flashlight, it will hold itself! Horay for doing my own car maintaince.

If it also opened cans, cleaned my floors and I could play chess on it.. I'd be in for 3!

How bright is 60 lumens? This may be useful on the workbench...

you can direct it at something you're working on when you need both hands and your mouth is on strike.

It's usually not random they usually have it at about the same time in the day, so everyone has a chance and isn't at dinner or something

These are very cool and retailed at about 40 bucks last year. They have differnt brightness settings and the tripod is a nice feature to pivot and position the light.

so ppl can set it up in dark places and work...

Cool, but maybe not THAT cool? The LEDs aren't particularly bright ones.

These thing are great. They can shine the light in three different directions at one time and they can be individual lights.
