Where exactly is the headquarters for this "Famous Maker" tv company? Is it a real place? I'm just wondering cuz I've never ever heard of it before, but woot sure does love it.

I do a daily woot blog where I talk about the woot, link to CSEs, find reviews, etc. A few people have told me it's useful. Google "useful linkage" and there it is.

How many HDMI hook-ups on this unit?

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

"Operating environment:

Temperature: 41 degrees F to 95 degrees F (5 degrees C to 35 degrees C )"

If you're computing at 41 degrees, I hope you're one of the 9501 who w00ted the Vornado foot heater.

Thinking that Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) couldn't possibly be as bad as Woot! claimed it was, I decided to watch the movie last night. All I can say is that the Woot! filter is most definitely justified in its substitution.

Why yes, that is "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels doing the flying body press.

Also, that picture looks like old-school Ring of Honor.

Read the Woot "Spec":

Input terminal:

1 HDMI connector (version 1.3)
1 VGA connector

For those of you freaking out over the lack of DVI... you can stop now. It's a simple adapter. In fact, here's a nice DVI to HDMI cable for cheap

Uh...vga can't do 1080p, so only one of those inputs is fully functional.

Watch the MST3k

wesdapilot

It is an HP, it is a "debranded" model, meaning it is made for secondary markets.

The same unit, referbed, is about $175 on most websites. Looks like a good price.

My only problem is that the last time I purchased something "referbed" from Woot, it arrived DOA and Woot basically told me to go scratch. So, no more "referbs" from Woot....

HDMI is the same as DVI except it carries the audio signal also.

All you need for DVI is a convertor cable.

Why the F*** would they build a monitor, but NOT include DVI? It has HDMI but.. ugh blows my mind.

90% of graphic card users don't have hdmi on it -_-

Aren't the dongles to DVI adapter quality not as reliable? Does anyone know?

Was it the MST3k version or the original? Because if it was the original... wow, I'm surprised you survived.

Found an eerily similar one from HP for $229.00 (new plus shipping) on Amazon.

4.5 star rating.

That's pretty slick if you made this monitor tune in TV channels.
