Lay on the floor? Sorry it's hurting.

Evening folks. Happy Friday! Off next week. Get to spend it... packing. Sigh.

Laying down hurts, too.

I'd tell myself to sleep elsewhere, but I'd still be there with me.

Tried laying on your stomach? I'd say this is one of those times to follow the age old advice of, "If it hurts, don't do it"

I've always been a proponent of that axiom.

I haven't been able to sleep on my stomach since I blew that fuse!

Shocking

Do muscle relaxers help your back? Sorry it's hurting. That's a horrible pain - hard to get comfy.

They might . . . if I had some.

Ibuprofen helped a bit this morning, but my stash is at work.

May have to. I'd take Tylenol, but I'm enjoyin' a couple of brews now that dinner is over,

Hi everybody. Years ago I had muscle spasms in my back. If it were me, I'd walk to the store to get something. And I'd probably take it with beer. We'd been tubing the day before and I think the backstroke in the tube did me in. Absolutely no comfortable position at all. Remembered the guy across the street saying he had stuff from the natural foods store that really helped his leg cramps. Begged him for some. It said take one to three. I took two and it knocked me out for about three hours. Woke up, no spasms.

At least relocate it. Although other issues tend to follow for a while, still it won't last forever.

I agree with the others. Go get something so you can relax the muscles overnight. Otherwise, you'll have them tensed up while you're sleeping and be in real trouble tomorrow.

I found that these heat wraps helped a lot when I had a severe back ache. That and a handful of Ibuprofen.

I'll live with it for now and deal with it tomorrow. Maybe it'll prove to be a d'name-type symptom - here today; gone tomorrow.

BTW, ex was finally released from hospital today. Sent home with 84 IV bags of antibiotics to hook up to 3 times a day. Two short duration ones and one long one. Three weeks worth.

He ignored an infection on his leg until it was swollen to at least twice its normal size and spreading to the other leg and his arms. It was oozing such that his sock would be yellow at the end of the day. He went to the doc-in-the-box last Friday and they told him to get to the ER. They were also worried about a very low heart rate.

So he went home and relaxed. Went and did a hardware deployment all Saturday night. Relaxed some Sunday and finally went to the ER on Monday. They admitted him with a severe staph infection.

Yeah, son was there when they put that in. He said it was a good thing they made him wear a mask because he's sure that his jaw was dropped open the entire time!

Orc had a pickline for a re-occurrent infection following a really nasty break. We only had to do syringes.

Yep, a PICC. Upper arm, above the elbow, I believe. Goes through the vein to the heart. Ugh.

Oh - you did. Sorry - I just had a brain fart.

I wasn't that great about remembering what everyone posted this week. My head was a little fuzzy. sorry 'bout that.

Glad he's going to be okay though.
