They don't count yet because they've brought them back once. It's the item that only shows up once that you'd never buy, even at Spencer's, that everyone wishes they had.

O.M.G. Now I have seen everything. This has to be the ugliest lamp of all time. It tries to be kitch with the key to turn the lamp on, but it fails, badly.
Insert witty saying here.

I have one but it's a harley - I am a Grandpa. my grand sons LOVE this lamp. they seriously run to it when then come for a visit - i keep extreamly good care of it when they are not here becuase it's so interesting to them that they cannot get it out of thier heads. They live 1600 miles away and ask me to turn it on when we are on the phone.
I am not jokeing here. the reason I take such great car of this cool little lamp that makes all kinds of racket and has night light options is this.
I know they will remember it forever and one of them is going to literally be thrilled one day to have Grandpas lamp.
it's not a heirloom per say - not of value monetarily but to those little boy's it's a memory and it could not be replaced.
These thing s are awesome.
You definitely need to buy three of these then so they don't have to fight over them (Oh, and btw, I'm not being mean...I really mean it. There are way too many grandchildren in my generation and when my grandma died they all swooped in before we even got there.).

er....funny, have to point out there was no corvair in 1955, though your joke was indeed cheesy....

My parents had a '72 Ford LTD. One day someone said it was "hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk." I thought the hood of the car was hotter.
Oops.
